Overview
A medial ankle sprain affects structures on the inside of the ankle. It can cause pain, swelling and reduced confidence when loading or changing direction.
How the Ankle Balance Board Can Support Your Training
This pathway focuses on building controlled ankle motion and rebuilding strength and stability around the foot, ankle and lower limb.
Your Training Path
Start with the mobility exercises, then build through the strength exercises in the order shown. This is a progression—not a one-session checklist. Quality and control come before difficulty.

How to Progress Through This Pathway
Then build strength in order: S1 → S2 → S3 → S4 → S5 → S6 → S7 → S8. This is a long pathway; it is not intended to be completed in one session or one week.
Mobility and an earlier control exercise may remain while you add the next strength level.
Progress only when all four checks are positive: Control + Comfort + Completion + Next-Day Check.
Advanced Board Configurations
Once you can perform the exercises in this pathway with good control, you can explore these optional board configurations for an extra balance and stability challenge. These configurations change the board setup; they do not replace the exercise instructions.
