Overview
Plantar fasciitis involves irritation of the plantar fascia on the underside of the foot, commonly felt around the heel or arch. Foot stiffness, reduced mobility and poor load control can contribute to symptoms.
How the Ankle Balance Board Can Support Your Training
The program combines mobility and progressive foot, ankle and lower-chain strengthening to improve control of the forces passing through the foot.
Your Training Path
Start with the mobility exercises, then build through the strength exercises in the order shown. This is a progression—not a one-session checklist. Quality and control come before difficulty.

How to Progress Through This Pathway
S1 → S2 → S3 → S5 → S6 → S7 → S9. Increase only one variable at a time: exercise level, repetitions, range or board difficulty.
Mobility can remain part of the session as strength work is added.
Progress only when all four checks are positive: Control + Comfort + Completion + Next-Day Check.
Advanced Board Configurations
Once you can perform the exercises in this pathway with good control, you can explore these optional board configurations for an extra balance and stability challenge. These configurations change the board setup; they do not replace the exercise instructions.
